Orphanides: Nine-month results 2007

Pursuant to the CSE and SEC Regulations and in order to fully inform the shareholders and the investing public in general, the Board of Directors of Orphanides Public Company Limited announces that at the meeting held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 16.00 at the Company’s Head Office, it examined and approved the nine-month results for the period ended September 30, 2007.
The results, which have been prepared pursuant to the International Accounting Standard 34 ‘Interim financial statements’, are expressed in Cyprus pounds. According to CSE Circulars 11-2006 and 12-2006 on the announcement of financial results, the Company presents the additional announcements, which include the consolidated profit and loss account for the three months and nine months ended September 30, 2007, the consolidated balance sheet as at September 30, 2007 and the consolidated cash flow for the nine months ended September 30, 2007 in euros. The Groups operates in Cyprus pounds. The conversion from Cyprus pounds into euro was based on the exchange rate €1 = £0.5842.
Copies of the results will be available free of charge at the Company’s registered office, 20-22 Yiannou Kranidioti Avenue, Larnaca. The results will be published in newspaper “Phileleftheros” on December 2, 2007 and “Financial Mirror” on December 5, 2007.
