Marfin: BoD approved Dividend Reinvestment Plan

Further to the announcements dated 28/2/2008 and 1/4/2008 of Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd, the Board of Directors announces that it has approved the Dividend Reinvestment Plan that will be proposed to the Annual General Meeting to take place on May 15, 2008.
According to the Plan, the exercise price of the right for the dividend reinvestment in shares will be 10% lower than the average closing price of the share in the CSE from May 23 to May 29, 2008 (first five days during which the share will trade ex-dividend).
The informative letter and the application for the participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan have been posted to the shareholders together with the Annual Report and the notification for the Annual General Meeting. They will also be available at the Company’s website (www.laiki.com). The application must be returned to the bank by May 22, 2008.
