Marfin reduced its stake in Amathus to 2.44%

Amathus Public Ltd announces that on 1/9/2001 it was informed pursuant to Law 190(I)/2007 that Marfin Popular Bank Public Company Ltd, shareholder of more than 5% in its capital, sold 4,733,868 fully paid shares at the price of €0.29 per share to Lanitis E.C Holdings Ltd, reducing its stake below 5%, to 2.44%.
