Marfin: SEC approved Supplementary Prospectus for bond issue
Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd (the “Bank”, the “Group”)announces that the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission approved on November 3rd 2008, the Bank's Supplementary Prospectus prepared with regard to:
The offer and issue at par, as well as the listing on the Cyprus Stock Exchange of up to €83.841.000 Capital Securities of €1.000 nominal value offered to the public, as well as
The listing on the Cyprus Stock Exchange of €116.159.000 Capital Securities of €1.000 nominal value issued at par on April 14th 2008, to professional investors, to a limited group of individuals and individuals who applied for at least €50.000.
The Supplementary Prospectus relates the Bank's Prospectus dated June 6th 2008.
The Supplementary Prospectus dated November 3rd 2008 will be available free of charge on November 4th 2008:

The Capital Securities of €83.841.000 will be listed only on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and will be consolidated to the existing Capital Securities of €116.153.000, which are traded since July 25th 2008 under the codes CPBCS and ΛΑΙΚΑ.
The start of trading of the above mentioned Capital Securities will be announced by the Cyprus Stock Exchange in a few days.
