Marfin: Nine-month results 2008

Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd, further to its announcement dated November 5, 2008, reports that at today’s meeting the Board of Directors has examined and approved the Financial Statements of the Group for the period January – September 2008.
The Financial Statements, the Explanatory Note, as well a relevant Presentation and Press Release have been sent to Athens Stock Exchange.
Data and information for the Financial Statements will be published in the newpapers “Phileleftheros”, “Politis”, “Simerini”, “Alithia”, “Haravgi” and “Machi” in Cyprus, as well in the newspapers “Imerisia” and “Apogevmatini” in Greece, on Friday, November 28, 2008.
The Financial Statements for the period ended September 30, 2008 will also be available at the Shares & Debentures Department, Diomedous 10, 2nd Floor, 2024 Strovolos, Nicosia, at the website of the Group, www.laiki.com, as well at the websites of Cyprus Stock Exchange, www.cse.com.cy, and Athens Exchange S.A., www.ase.gr.
