Marfin: CPBCS Capital Securities ex-interest on 18/12

Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that the interest of the Capital Securities (CPBCS), in accordance to the terms of their issue, is payable every three months, on 31st March, 30th June, 30th September and 31st December every year. The Capital Securities bear an interest rate of 6,50% until 31 March 2009.

The date that beneficiaries will be determined for the payment of the interest for the period to 31st December 2008 is 12th December 2008. Therefore, the ex-interest date is 18th December 2008.
