Marfin Popular: Preliminary results 2008

Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that at today’s meeting its Board of Directors has approved the Preliminary results of the Group for the year 2008, which are attached hereto. We also attach the Presentation of the Results to analysts.

The Results will be published in the Cypriot newspaper “Phileleftheros” on Friday, 27 February 2009. They will also be available at the website of the Group, www.laiki.com, as well at the website of Cyprus Stock Exchange, www.cse.com.cy, and Athens Exchange S.A., www.ase.gr.
