HB: Preliminary results 2009 – Proposed div of €0.05

Further to the meeting of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd held on February 25, 2010, we attach the preliminary results for the year ended December 31, 2009.
The Board of Directors decided to propose to the AGM the payment of a final dividend of €0.05 per share for 2009.
The record date will be May 31, 2010, while the ex-dividend date will be May 27, 2010.
Transactions carried out until Tuesday, May 26, 2010 (inclusive) will be cum-dividend.
The dividend – given that it will be approved by the AGM - will be paid to the shareholders on Monday, June 28, 2010.
It is noted that the preliminary results will be published in newspaper “Phileleftheros” on February 26, 2010.
