Orphanides: SEC approved Prospectus for listing of 191.5k bonds

Pursuant to the CSE and SEC Regulations and in order to fully inform the shareholders and the investing public in general and further to the announcements dated April 19, 2011 and June 19, 2011, Orphanides Public Company Limited announces that on October 11, 2011 the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Prospectus on the listing to the CSE of 191,500 bonds, which bear a guarantee of interest and capital payment by Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd, of nominal value €100 each. The Prospectus has been prepared pursuant to the Public Offer and Prospectus Law 2005 (N 114 (I)/2005).

The Bonds were issued on June 10, 2011 to persons who submitted an application of at least €50,000 based on the Confidential Memorandum dated May 3, 2011. The offer and issue of Bonds had been approved with a decision of the Board of Directors dated April 19, 2011. The CSE will release a public announcement on the exact day that the Bonds will start trading in the CSE.
