Louis Hotels Ltd, subsidiary of Louis Cruise Lines Ltd would like to announce that it has completed the construction of the new tourist village Louis Althea Beach, which has started operations on May 12, 2003.
The new luxury unit, situated at the privileged region of Protaras has an innovative architecture and decoration design and a direct access to the beach. It consists of 150 apartments, a convenient reception, 2 restaurants, 3 bars, a conference, a health center, a large swimming pool with waterfalls, a super market, a leisure center, outdoor sports facilities, a theatre, etc.
The new tourist village Louis Althea Beach has been allocated exclusively to the Scandinavian company Fritidsreror, which belongs to TUI Group, for the period of 5 years, in line with the Company’s policy for a strategic cooperation with the largest organization in the sector. It is noted that Louis Althea Beach will operate as “Blue Village”, which represents a more upgraded and quality product offered by Fritidsreror to the Scandinavian market. The new unit is the second “Blue Village” operated by Fritidsreror in cooperation with Louis Hotels following the successful operation of Nausicaa Beach in Protaras. The new agreement is expected to boost the Company’s profitability for 2003.
This addition will increase the total number of the Company’s hotel units and tourist villages to Cyprus and Greece to 25.
