Increased losses for Demetra

Demetra Investment Co. Ltd. published its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2001.
Revenues including dividends, interest, losses from realization of investments and deficit from revaluation of investments equalled losses of CYP 38.958.000 compared to losses of CYP 19.929.000 the previous year. Operational losses before taxation were CYP 39.723.000 with losses for the period of CYP 40.157.000 compared to CYP 22.187.000 the previous year. Losses per share equalled 20,08 cents.
The company will not propose dividend payments to the AGM and notes that results of the company were negatively affected by the decline of the CSE index.
