CPB: Six-month results 2006 on 8/8

Please be informed that the Board of Directors of Cyprus Popular Bank (Laiki Bank) will meet on Tuesday 8 August 2006 to consider the results of the Laiki Group, for the first six months of 2006.
The results will be announced to the Cyprus Stock Exchange after the end of the meeting.
The results will be presented to analysts, stockbrokers and investors on the same date at 4:30 p.m at the Laiki Sporting Club of Laiki Bank at Yeri
