Marfin Popular: Information on the right to exit

Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces the following:
Further to the announcements dated 4.1.2007 and 27.3.2007 on the right to exit of the holders of shares of Marfin Financial Group SA Holdings, which were not exchanged within the framework of the Public Offer and pursuant to article 28 of N. 3461/2006 and the Decision of the Board of Directors of the Securities and Exchange Commission 1/409/29.12.2006, we wish to announce that during the period of exercise of the right to exit, 1,167 shareholders of Marfin Financial Group SA Holdings offered to the Company 1,105,408 shares (1 share for every 5,7570 new shares).
So far, the Company holds 53,839,932 shares of Marfin Financial Group SA Holdings, which represent 97.30% of the total share capital of Marfin Financial Group SA Holdings.
The completion of the procedures will depend on the safeguard of the necessary approvals and permits by the competent authorities (Greek SEC, Cyprus SEC, ASE, CSE). The new timetable will be announced by the Company at a later stage.
