Marfin Popular to appeal against SEC’s decision

Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that on April 4, 2007 it was informed on the decision of the Securities and Exchange Commission in relation to the violation of articles 8 and 10 of Directive 5/2005 of the SEC (KPD 447/2005). The Company and the persons involved will appeal to Court against the decision.
