Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that the decision taking for the issue of the required number of shares within the framework of the authorizations of the Board of Directors at the Extraordinary General Meeting on March 12, 2007 and the Extraordinary General Meeting on October 24/31/ 2006, has been transferred for the scheduled meeting on April 17, 2007.
The Supplementary Prospectus has been approved the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 12, 2007. The credit of the new shares in the beneficiaries’ accounts and the start of their trading in the CSE and the ASE will take place following the safeguard of all necessary approvals for their listing in the CSE and the ASE.
