CSE: Marfin Popular to list new shares

The CSE Council announces that pursuant to Article 58 of the CSE Law, it has accepted the listing of 24,502,416 ordinary shares of “Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd” of nominal value £0.50, which have been allocated as an exchange for the acquisition of 1,105,408 shares of Marfin Financial Group SA and the acquisition of 1,209,505 shares of Laiki Bank (Hellas) SA.
It is noted that the above shares will be incorporated in the already listed share capital of the Company, which will rise to 796,682,764 shares.
Their trading will commence on Monday, April 23, 2007.
