Marfin Popular: Issue of 3-year senior debt

Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces today, 22 May 2007, that it has mandated Deutsche Bank, Citigroup and HSBC as joint bookrunners for its forthcoming 3-year, floating rate, senior debt issue. The transaction is expected to be launched today, under the issuer’s EMTN Programme.

The ratings of Marfin Popular Bank are A3 by Moody’s and BBB+ by Standard & Poor’s.
