With reference to a report on the acquisition of Hellenic Bank by another bank, we declare that it is completely ungrounded.
The Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank is in no deliberations or negotiations with any bank for merger or acquisition.
On the other hand, the Board of Directors will proceed with the expansion of the Group as this is described in its Strategic Plan.
