Marfin: Q1 results 2009

Further to its announcement dated 8 May 2009, Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that its Board of Directors at a meeting held today, approved the Financial Statements of the Group and the Bank for the period January – March 2009.
The Financial Statements, the Explanatory Note, as well a relevant Presentation and Press Release are attached hereto.
Data and information for the Financial Statements will be published in the newspaper “Politis” in Cyprus, on Friday May 29, 2009.
The Financial Statements will also available at the Group’s website www.laiki.com, the Cyprus Stock Exchange website www.cse.com.cy, as well at the Athens Stock Exchange website www.ase.gr. Copies can also be obtained from the Shares and Debentures Department of the Group, 10 Diomidous Street, 2nd floor, Strovolos 2024, Nicosia.
The Board of Directors has also reappointed the following committees:
Audit Committee: Constantinos Mylonas – Chairman, Markos Foros, Neoclis Lysandrou – Members
Remuneration Committee: Platon Lanitis – Chairman, Markos Foros, Neoclis Lysandrou – Members
