USB: Six-month results 2009

At the meeting held yesterday at 7.00 pm, the Board of Directors of the Bank approved the six-month results for the period ended June 30, 2009.
The results are attached.
The results will be published in the daily press on August 31, 2009 and copies will be available at the Bank’s registered office, 83 Digeni Akrita, 5th floor, 1070 Nicosia and its website, www.usb.com.cy.
Also, with reference to the bank’s strengthening of capital base and further to the announcement dated 12/8/2009, the talks will be completed at the next meeting of the Board of Directors to take place at a later stage.
